Nicorette gum cinnamon whitening:

http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2005/11/16/listerine-for-l/ Here’s a link about using original Listerine in your hair to kill & prevent lice…

Ok, so I am almost done my fight with bugs that I got when trying to rescue a raccoon…I am posting the results of this new experience to maybe help others…The next bunch of posts is a tracking of my progress with various products…I think this will be the last of this series…

Here are the products I liked:

*Nix anti-scabies cream (doesn’t matter what the bug is called, bedbug, lice, mites, fleas, ticks, this stuff works!)- put this all over your body before you go to bed & even put some in your hair…Kills the bugs & stops them in their tracks before they creep into your hair…Use this to help get a good night’s sleep which you will need…

*Life brand anti-lice shampoo from Shoppers Drug Mart: works in one shampooing…’nuff said…

*Combantrin anti-parasitic pills: you gotta take these because maybe the bugs or the eggs went into your mouth & you ate them…It’s a one dose thing & will ease your mind about whether or not bugs are hatching in your windpipe…

*Nicorette cinnamon whitening 4 mg. gum: Nicotine is a natural anti-parasitic, even if you don’t smoke this is good…The nicotine also helps you lose weight & gives you some extra energy…Chew just half a piece, & save the other half for later…(This cleans your mouth cavity of any bugs that may be there…also cleans up your bloodstream naturally…)

*Oxy-Clean products: you can get the Oxy-clean powder & sprinkle it into your bathtub with very hot water & leave bedding like your pillowcase to soak in it for hours…Then machine dry on hot for a long time…It’s your pillowcase & pillowcover & pillow that bugs like best, so if you have to choose just one area to wash really well, well this is it…(You can also wash hard surfaces with oxy-clean powder & water)…Oxy-clean seemed to be the best of all the surface cleaning tools…(You can even put it in a spray bottle & spray it…beware of your cats or dogs or babies…)

*Polysporin topical antibiotic cream is also at Shoppers Drug Mart over the counter, all of the above products are also over the counter although the more specialized stuff is over the counter but you have to ask the pharmacist to get it… The polysporin antibiotic cream you use on the open sores you have created while scratching like crazy…This is important to avoid infection & make you feel better too…This is greasy so you might prefer to put it on in the morning & wash it off before sleeping…

*I like Paul Mitchell tea tree oil special shampoo but I ran out today so I got Klorane citron pulp shampoo on sale…Lemon (citron) is a natural insect repellent & Klorane makes the best shampoos if you can afford them or get them on sale…Burberry Sport Ice makes a nice lemon smelling eau de toilette if you are so inclined & feeling depressed ’cause you have head lice…

Notes: the lice or mites or bedbugs seem to wake up at 6pm & go to sleep at 6 am…This will be your hardest times ’cause they are active & you are tired…make sure to have some over the counter sleeping pills on hand at all times- even if you can’t clean your whole place up, you NEED to rest or you will go crazy…If you feel yourself getting nutty, take a pill in the morning & sleep all day long to catch up on ZZZzzs…Work is not a place to go to anyway since you will give your lice to everyone else & they will hate you…I cut all my long hair off, & this was a good idea…Get a good pair of haircutting scissors from Cosmetic World, stand in front of a mirror, grab your long hair into a ponytail shape with one hand & twist it till it is all fully twisted, then cut off as much as you can bear letting it untwirl in your hand- the twirling before cutting gives a much more naturally finish…Keep twirling & cutting until your hair is pretty short…At the point where you can’t grab a large chunk on either side & twirl, you can’t do anymore dry…Run a bath & bring your scissors…Lay your hair back under the water & grab long pieces & twirl them & cut…The water will help you grab & twirl…Try to do one long piece on one side, then another in the same position on the other side to balance it all out…Always twirl before you cut & you will get pretty feathering…I also bleached my hair three times (I like Herbatint hair colours because they have no ammonia & you can get them at health stores-if you are a blonde, understand that you need a red colour first if you are going from blonde to brown- the red avoids the green look you will get if you try to go from blonde to brown without a red copper mid-step bleaching…This colour you see is copper red, then blonde, then blonde, to get a warm dirty blonde look which is actually close to my natural colour- I bleached not for aesthetics but because hair bleach kills bugs & cleans your hair shaft…)…Whitening toothpaste & tooth whiteners also contain bleach…(good)…Go to mark’s Work warehouse & buy all new clothing to wear while you are fighting bugs- the stuff is good, very cheap & you will feel happy & cleaner…try to buy synthetics, bugs don’t like synthetics…(You will find the bugs nesting in your cotton or leather or wool items or furniture)…Vacuuming is very important…Our Miele vacuum cleaner was the most expensive & I love it! It is quiet & you will be thanking your lucky stars you own one if you find bugs in your home or bedding…We have the one that you drag around with the push pull part separate, so you can get under a bed easily…Bugs like warmth so make your environment cold…make sure your kidneys are clean by drinking some Triple Leaf Super Slimming Tea at night- this makes you poop in the morning & takes pressure off your kidneys…Madagascar periwinkle is a natural anti-cancer tea which will clean out your body of gunk & make you feel great-don’t overdo- this stuff is strong…(Herbies herbs carries Madagascar periwinkle-active ingredient vinpocetine which is also on chemotherapy)…If not, eat grapefruit with the peel…(The peel is also anti-cancer…)Avoid sugar since bugs like people who eat & sweat sugar…Avoid high iron or meats since they like high iron people too…(But if you are feeling faint or about to pass out, then you will need to fortify…Gin contains red blood cell analogues if that happens…Potato vodka contains natural antibiotics if you can find something that really is made from potatoes…)

About GroveCanada

Artist Statement: I like to push...Push the fold...Innovate...Figure out how to do something then figure out how to do it even better...I get bored once I accomplish something...I can’t seem to make multiples...Once it is done, it is done & I am not going to make another one...This can hurt profitability...But I feel the paradigm of repetitive production is obsolete...I see a future where pure intellectual innovation will be rewarded without the need to commercialize it somehow...I wonder about the Star Trek idea of a new culture where money is not the driving force...I live that future already... Bio: Sari is an optimist by nature, someone who always sees the sunny side of things, even if there is no sunny side really...She grew up with two wonderful parents & a great brother...Later she married the very best guy in the world, another artist named Joseph Grove...She likes art because it is for her a happy place to be...A place where joy can reside...So she decided to make art herself because that was the nicest thing she thought she could do for people’s lives...I’d tell you more about angst or strife or misery or struggling, but really, that was not the case...But perhaps, because I am Sari & I am writing this, my perception is warped by my extreme positivity...But, to tell you the truth, life has been good... p.s.You can read more about my credentials on my main website at http://www.grovecanada.ca ...But I have left a few things out, credential-wise... My feeling is:"By their fruits, ye shall know them" which is from the New Testament, Book of Mathew(7, 16-20)... So read my books & see if the fruit tastes good to you...I feel those are better credentials than telling you something on a resume... p.p.s. I am a Christian...Whatever that word means to you...
